6-6-6 = Mark of the Beast or The Anti-Christ?: Debunking The Myth
June 5, 2006
By Julian Michael
“Nothing in the Universe could exist without Numbers. Everything is Number.”
Pythagoras, The Father of Mathematics and Numerology.
“Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty- six.” REV 13:18
The Book of Revelations is filled with stories about famine, disease, angels and saints and includes numerous references to 6-6-6 as ‘The Beast’. How did ‘6-6-6’ then become known as ‘the Anti-Christ”? There is no known reference anywhere in the Book of Revelations that ties ‘the Beast’ to the ‘Anti-Christ’. Yet religious leaders and scholars have been doing so for centuries because this myth expresses the dark-side of all of Christ’s teachings?
"And he deceives those who dwell on the earth because of the signs which it was given him to perform in the presence of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who had the wound of the sword and has come to life.” REV 13:14
For centuries, these Revelations have sent scholars and scientists locked in a whirlwind of interpretations, trying to figure out the meaning behind 6-6-6. Today, more then ever, 6-6-6 is being marketed as a day of evil instilling fear into people’s hearts.
However there is another thought. I have been a Numerologist for over 25 years and this demonic construction of these numbers has been challenging for me. So today, let me present another way of viewing 6-6-6.
According to Pythagoras’ theory, each number possesses an energy that can be related to a human value. In Numerology, the “6” possesses a conscientious vibration that embraces beauty and creativity encouraging us to help and serve others.
This ancient science adds numbers until you get a single digit vibration:
6+6+6 = 18 = 1+8= “9”
The “6”, in its dark-side is obstinate, obsessive, jealous, heartless, insecure, angry and a lover of war. If we give the “6” energy a personality it could be easily interpreted as the Anti-Christ of destruction.
The “9” In Numerology being the sum total of 6-6-6 has a great compassion and selfless attitude to share with others. To reach this level, this “9”, cleanses the mind and body of
negative and destructive feelings. The ‘9’ instills tolerance, enlightenment and viewed in a powerful light, can empower humanity on a global level.
The facts are simple. The ancient wisdom of Numerology challenges this myth of terrorist tales. I suggest it’s time that we create a new paradigm of how to view 6-6-6.
Summing up, on Tuesday, June 6, 2006, we can erase the previous held mind-set and look at how we can love and support humanity in a more positive light and impact
the planet with a view toward serving one another.
